It was incredibly humbling walking into the week of Ephesians and learning that I had so much more to learn. I kinda thought that I like had Ephesians pretty well. I mean I felt I should. The Lord redeemed me going through a bible study of Ephesians. Then later I led a Bible study on it, and I also sat through some super solid teaching on it. I mean I did kind of knew it, but I didn't realize how much more there was to gain by studying it on my own. I had never gone back and studied the church at Ephesus from Acts, but this time I did. Also before studying Ephesians in depth if someone would have asked me the question what is the book of Ephesians mainly about I would not have really known. However, after looking at the church that this letter was written to, prayerfully studying it in depth of context, and learning how to story Ephesians the unity was made so clear. I still have much to learn from this book of life, and I so look forward to continuing to be taught by the Lord.
I think that Paul wrote this letter to the Ephesians so that they would know this...
God in his love has graciously united us in Christ as he had planned before the foundation of the world to give us the inheritance with Christ. So, that through standing firm we may become the praise of His glory.

"Visit many good books, but live in the Bible."
